It seems as if you reach the 20 week mark and automatically begin counting down. So, we're officially on the downward slope. Today I'm 21 weeks, the little man is supposedly the size of a banana, and we only have 19 weeks to go! I've started to feel him move around a lot more in the past couple of weeks and last weekend Mark was able to feel him kick for the first time. I imagine the excitement of feeling him kick will diminish as he gets bigger and the kicks get stronger, but for now it's comforting.
This week our friend and old neighbor Christine is visiting with her 5 month old son Luke. We're getting to enjoy a preview of what our lives will be like in a few months and are enjoying both of their company.
We also signed up for the classes at the hospital. We won't take them for a month or so but had to sign up in advance in order to get a spot. Hopefully his crib will be arriving in the next month and we can paint the room and the rest of the furniture sometime in April.
We've already been so fortunate to have many different friends give us baby clothes, maternity clothes, and even a gliding rocker! This little guy is very loved!
