Jacob is 23 months old today. One more month and he'll be 2 years old. (Or if you ask him he'll be "2 months"). We just for back from a wonderful vacation with my family in South Carolina (more on that later). Yesterday we went to our first 2nd birthday party for Jacob's friend Felix. It was at a splash park and we weren't sure how much Jacob would like it but he ended up having a blast! This afternoon Aunt Megan and Aunt Suz are coming to visit so Jacob and I are having a fun day at home together waiting for them to arrive. We ran up to the barber shop this morning and got his 2nd hair cut which he surprisingly had a lot of fun getting. Then we enjoyed a roll,raspberry and coconut water snack waiting for the rain to pass before running home. He's my little cheering section in the stroller, he kept saying "Go Mommy Go" when we were running.
So, for memories sake this is what Jacob likes at 23 months:
-cheese grits, tomatoes, edamame, and berries are among the top favorite foods
-he loves Legos and playing with toy animals
-he can now strum his ukulele very well
-he still loves music
-loves to read
-enjoys matching games with shapes and colors
-counts to 13 consistently
-loves Bailey and tries to tell her to do things like we do "Move Bubba", "Sit Bubba"
- can spot a school bus and a backhoe a mile away!
