15 months

Well, it's been almost a month since I posted last, and I can essentially sum up our month in 1 word: sick!  We've spent most of the last month taking medicines, cuddling, wiping away snotty noses, and not sleeping.    Last Friday Jacob got tubes and we're keeping our fingers crossed we've turned the corner, at least with the ear infections.   It was a hard decision for us but after many Many MANY ear infections and constant antibiotics we decided they were the right thing for him.  The surgery was quick but the recovery was exhausting and we're happy that our little buddy is finally feeling better!  In addition to Jacob being sick, he passed it to Mark numerous times but as of right now we are all antibiotic free (knock on wood).

What a difference a year makes!

Today Jacob is 15 months old (wow)!  We is a very busy boy these days and keeps us one our toes every second.  He's constantly moving.  He never sits still!  He is constantly talking and walking and running and dancing.  If you don't believe me come spend a day at our house, I can promise you'll be ready for a nap when he is!  When he's not sick he's the happiest little guy makes everyday a lot of fun.  His vocabulary amazes up everyday!  Tonight at dinner he signed "thank you" for the first time (proud Mommy moment).  He still is one of the pickiest eaters on the planet but will happily eat cheese, peas, raspberries, cheese, blueberries, sweet potato pancakes, did I say cheeese?, edamame beans, hummus, oatmeal, a bagel (sometimes), crackers, and cheese!  He won't eat any meat, or plain pancakes, or a piece of toast, but tonight he had two pieces of cornbread.  He keeps up on our toes.  He loves birds, dogs, pumpkins, the moon, shoes,  and being outside.  He got a new shopping cart from Beep and has fun going shopping around the house with his water cup and two stuffed animal dogs in the cart.  Happy 15 months sweet buddy!  You're $1.25 as Daddy said.

What a big boy!
