A pleasant surprise

Today was the first day I've been at work all week because I've been sick. Even though I still wasn't feeling well and didn't have much of a voice, I was supposed to present at our college's annual research day. I arrived just in time, put up my poster, stood there for 2 hours explaining my research and answering questions in my very horrible hoarse voice, and then was told I had to stay an extra hour for the awards ceremony. Well, much to my surprise I was presented with the top Outstanding Research Award.Standing with my poster and Kevin, a 1st year AuD student
