One week from today we leave for our trip to Scandinavia! Today we spent the afternoon packing . . . it's definitely a challenge trying to fit everything we need for the many different temperatures into 2 suitcases. The temperature in Scandinavia is going to be between 50 (and raining) and 75, but we're going to be in DC for the first 3 days of the trip and it's going to be 90 there. Additionally we have to keep our suitcases under 44lbs so we don't get charged ridiculous amounts for overweight bags while we're traveling between countries over there, and I have to pack conference clothes for the last 4 days of the trip. Here are some pictures from this afternoon's adventure. We're almost there! (And as you can see, Bailey isn't too happy about the situation.)
